Is it halal to make cookies in the shape of a human hand for decoration, or is this considered to be making a haraam image? Thank you.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>All praise be to Allah, and may His blessings and peace be on His last messenger, Muhammad,<\/p>\n<p>Pictures, or even statues, that are incomplete, and particularly those that don\u2019t have a head are exempt from the prohibition of imagery. This is because of a report in at-Tirmidhi from Abi Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">&#8220;\u0623\u062a\u0627\u0646\u064a \u062c\u0628\u0631\u064a\u0644 \u0641\u0642\u0627\u0644: &#8230; \u0641\u064e\u0645\u064f\u0631\u0652 \u0628\u0631\u0623\u0633 \u0627\u0644\u062a\u0645\u062b\u0627\u0644 \u0627\u0644\u0630\u064a \u0641\u064a \u0627\u0644\u0628\u064a\u062a \u0641\u0644\u064a\u0642\u0637\u0639 \u0641\u064a\u0635\u064a\u0631 \u0643\u0647\u064a\u0626\u0629 \u0627\u0644\u0634\u062c\u0631\u0629 \u0648\u0645\u064f\u0631\u0652 \u0628\u0627\u0644\u0633\u062a\u0631 \u0641\u064a\u0642\u0637\u0639 \u0641\u064a\u062c\u0639\u0644 \u0648\u0633\u0627\u062f\u062a\u064a\u0646 \u0645\u0646\u0628\u0648\u0630\u062a\u064a\u0646 \u062a\u0648\u0637\u0626\u0627\u0646&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJibreel came to me and said: \u2026 Order the head of the statue at the door cut off, so it becomes like a tree, and the curtain to be torn apart into two pillows that will be laid on the floor and stepped over&#8230;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Also, if this had a head and was intended for children, it would still be fine.
