Assalam Alaikum ..
Dear Sir, I am a pious girl. I am educated and working in a reputable company. I am single. My problem is that I am very afraid of men as each time I meet someone who tries to approach me, I realize he is a bad person who seeks nothing in life but money or satisfying his desires or he can’t take decisions on his own.
Joining a new job, I heard of a very religious & pious guy, about whom all people are talking of his piety and manners… he was looking at me a lot, so i started to admire him. He is single. A week ago, i knew by accident that he`s preparing to marry his kinship within a month. Note, he`s still looking at me and trying to approach me. I stopped looking at him and resisted doing that a lot before (Zina Ain) but i`m amazed that such a pious guy behaves this way. I don’t know how to behave with him. I am very depressed that most guys are not good though seemigly. I feel i cant marry or be engaged to any man. They r all bad and unpious. They dont fear Allah when treating ladies, knowing that i`m not a beauty. no makeup, polite, pious…. What shall i do?

• You should continue to wait for a pious suitor and put your trust in Allah. There are pious men as there are pious women. Some men also complain of the lack of pious sisters. It seems that it is a matter of finding the right one, whether a man or a woman. There will always be good people in this ummah of ours, so do not lose hope.
• Avoid contact with men on social basis, and beware of men who are not conservative in their approach to women who are classmates or co-workers…etc.
• Visit the masjids frequently, for that is where pious people likely are.
• Make sincere du’a’ to Allah to protect you from all evil and all who are evil, and to grant you a good husband and stable family.
• Investigate very well (but within moderation) the background of any potential suitor and let your guardian (father if present) do the same.
May Allah reward you for your religiosity and morality and grant you a pious husband and righteous family and offspring.
